Rick, we did trade the US NFP on Feb 3. We sold the EURUSD at 1.3177 despite and initial spike up after the release, and ended up with 69 pips of profit. Here is the link to the video:

1. Don’t focus on the CANDLE. Focus on the bid or ask quote 1 second before the release…

5. You get the release On Time in real time as they are released from official sources… so in 1 second.
6. All newswire services are more or less the same speed… is not the speed but how you use the information that matters.

Hello,
I am Abiola from Nigeria. I have been following your news analysis for over a year now. I need you to please explain your After news method/Retracement Method. I understand i will wait for between 5-30minutes for a news to retrace and i will enter the trade between 10-15pips of the Pre-release price.
If a major news is scheduled for 8.30EST and i am on a 1 minute chart,
1. is it the 8.29EST candle that is the pre-release price or the 8.30EST candle?
2. if for instance 8.30EST candle is the pre-release price with OPEN HIGH LOW CLOSE, which of the values should i look for the news to retrace between 10-15pips before entring the trade. For example, if the news is down/short should i look out for the market to retrace between 10-15pips of the LOW value, or if your trade action says buy USD/CAD using after news retracement, should i look to buy u/cad when the price has retraced to the highest price of the pre-release price of 8.30EST ????
3. I have tried downloading the currency strenght meter, but couldnt get it, is it for sale, and if so whats the price?
4. I dont undestand the statement “”We will take profit at least 25% of the position when we get 10~20 pips of profit, and at least 50% of the position when we retest the top or the spike.”" please can you explain further?
5. I read you use TRADE THE NEWS as your news wire, how fast is it?(in how many seconds or minutes do you get the actual release figure from them?)
6. Is there any other news wire service that is faster than TRADE THE NEWS services?
